One boring afternoon couple of months ago, I was surfing aimlessly online and I stumbled upon on an online video series, The Fact Checkers Unit, and before I realized it, I spent almost 1 hour watching the 5 part of the online series.
The Fact Checkers Unit started as a short film with Bill Murray, which is about two overzealous magazine Fact Checkers who stop at nothing to check the most absurd of celebrity facts. It then turned into a web series, and thanks to Samsung, MTV, SXM Entertainment, and Moxie Pictures it has now reached season two. Although it is just a web series, all five episodes of this season maintain high production quality, and of course, we get to see how The Fact Checkers Unit used Samsung Galaxy Note in various scenarios.
I think one thing I like about the series is the ‘geeks’ vs ‘blonde fashion editorial’ and how the 2 geeks from the Fact Checkers Unit triumph in the end with a great party and a great hit by the end of the series.
Just when I thought the series had ended, it seems that The Fact Checkers Unit came back with an investigation about a rumor that James Franco is pregnant?! (Yup, James Franco from 127 Hours & Pineapple Express). Apparently, there are more to why James Franco is pregnant and The Fact Checkers Unit is out to find out what is the reason behind it. Well, at least I think that the number of facial expression James Franco have in this episode is way more than the number of expressions when he is hosting Oscars!
